Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Arpevo collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you use our mobile application, website, APIs and AI music-generation services.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address, password hash, or Google account identifiers used to authenticate you.
  • Creative content: music prompts, lyrical directions, lyrics, category choices, generated tracks, titles, covers, playlists, favorites and sharing preferences.
  • Support communications: messages and information you send when requesting assistance, exercising privacy rights or reporting a problem.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and technical data: request timestamps, feature interactions, app version, device and operating-system information, IP address and diagnostic events.
  • Purchase information: subscription status, product identifiers, entitlements, generation usage and transaction references. Arpevo does not receive your full payment-card details from app stores.
  • Notification data: device push token, platform and notification delivery information when notifications are enabled.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users and maintain sessions;
  • generate, store, organize, stream, download and share music and artwork;
  • operate subscriptions, generation allowances, credits and fraud prevention;
  • send transactional notifications, including generation-completion alerts;
  • provide support and respond to legal or privacy requests;
  • monitor reliability, diagnose failures, protect the service and prevent abuse; and
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell personal information or use your creative content for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing and public content

Prompts, optional lyrics and related instructions are sent to AI service providers to create music, titles, category classifications and cover artwork. Do not include confidential information or personal data about another person unless you have a lawful reason and permission to do so.

Tracks marked public, along with their title, cover, category and public playback URL, may be displayed to anyone. Private content is limited to your account and any private share link you choose to distribute, subject to operational access needed to provide the service.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information only as needed to operate Arpevo, complete transactions, protect users or comply with law. Providers may process data under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements:

  • Google: Google Sign-In, Firebase messaging and AI generation services;
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play: subscription and purchase management;
  • Sentry: error reporting, logs, performance traces and diagnostics;
  • DigitalOcean: application hosting, databases, queues and media storage; and
  • professional and legal recipients: when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, corporate transactions or enforcement of rights.

Arpevo does not permit these providers to use information for unrelated advertising on our behalf.

5. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with legal obligations, and rely on consent where required. You may withdraw consent for future processing without affecting processing already completed.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account from Settings in the Arpevo app. Account deletion removes your profile, sign-in identities, prompts, lyrics, generated tracks and covers (including public tracks), playlists, favorites, generation usage, onboarding profile and registered notification devices.

Deleting an Arpevo account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel an active subscription separately in the store where you purchased it.

We retain only limited, de-identified billing webhook fields and an irreversible deletion-audit record when reasonably necessary for transaction integrity, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance. These retained records do not contain your raw email, name, login identity, RevenueCat customer identifier or creative content. Diagnostic information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for reliability and security.

See our account deletion instructions. If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before completing the request.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, encrypted network transport and restricted production credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Arpevo and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers. Local privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

You can control public sharing for supported tracks, delete individual tracks or your complete account in the app, and manage notification permissions in your device settings. Contact [email protected] for additional account-level requests.

10. Children’s privacy

Arpevo is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot legally consent. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact Arpevo at [email protected].
